Standards Our objective is to comply with the requirements made of each application comfortably. The high level of safety required of our steels by their use in bridges, nuclear power stations, mining, cable cars, etc., together with the strict technical specifications they have to meet, make it necessary for the entire quality assurance system to have a leading role in both our processes and the final product. This has led us to adapt our quality system to the EN European standard equivalent of the international ISO 9002 standard. In recognition of the implantation of said standard in STRANDED STEEL and CABLES, the certification body AENOR awarded us their Company Registration Certificate. For prestressed strands and wires, we have been awarded the N mark as a Spanish certification of quality. The department has all the machinery required for performing the special tests and trials to which we subject all our products, including the testing of traction, loss of tension due to relaxation and resistance to fatigue and corrosion under stress.
