We offer strands and cables of different specifications for use in: Main cables Hangers Main cable protection strands Hanger connectors Cables for temporary walkways Temporary cable system for storms Special cables for spinning operations Post-stressing strand Cable for fencing It is interesting to point out that Tycsa PSC is a manufacturer of high-resistance galvanised strands for use in the construction of the main cable, with breaking stresses of over 1800 N/mm2 and a final drawing treatment aimed at reducing the internal stress of the strand to a minimum. Together with the supply in spools of up to five tonnes, the purpose of these specifications is to assure maximum reliability and winding speed in the aerial spinning operation. The supply on spools from our factory assures better distribution of the strand on the spool and constant tension during the winding operation. It also avoids the work, machinery and space required on site for the winding process, since this is carried out by Tycsa PSC at its factory. The reduction of costs and the term of execution this system afford have helped it to be the most frequently used in constructing the most recent suspension bridges.
